Business Administration
The International College Business Administration focuses on preparing and nurturing next generation business experts for an ever-increasing globalized and digitalized business environment. The core curriculum within this major offers competitive courses that include Human Resources Management, Marketing, and Global Entrepreneurship that are available in multiple languages.
Through the curriculum, students will be able to transform their passion into profit as well as expand and diversify their job opportunities to include careers such as an entrepreneur, analytic marketer, executive coach, and others. Computer Engineering
We welcome you to the C.S.I. International College Computer Engineering (ICCE) Major at Dongseo University, where C.S.I. program is pushed ahead. Our major is equipped with the best facilities and faculties, and its competitiveness has been proven by becoming a recipient of various financially supported projects led by the government.
The C.S.I. ICCE Major aims to foster international and hands-on professionals who have creative problem-solving ability as well as excellent communication skills. The ICCE is made up of three different fields of technology: Computer Engineering (C), Software Engineering (S), and Information & communication (I). In addition, C.S.I. also indicates Convergence, Smart Software and Intelligence Network, in each specialized area.
Changes in the IT industry have moved the center of IT from hardware to software. People now choose IT products not by hardware specification but by smart software types they can easily use.
Currently IT is breaking away from existing hardware-oriented technology development. Instead, it requires convergence with various industries, smart software technology development as well as intelligence network & information security core technology development. At the center of this change of IT industry, there is the C.S.I. ICCE Major at DSU.

Animation & VFX
The International College Animation & VFX Major focuses on training talented individuals who can lead the high demand industries in 3D digital contents media. Students learn how to create stories and characters along with modeling, rigging, animation, texturing, and lighting. They also composite and edit their own films to prepare for working in global animation and VFX industries.
This major is available in association with double major, dual degree, or joint education programs with its international partner universities. Its standard 4-year curriculum is specially designed for international students. Moreover, the curriculum is not fixed. It is flexible and can be customized.
International College Animation and VFX major operates the Joint-Degree programs with Korea-China School of New Media (China), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Petra Christian University (Indonesia) and exchange programs with many other countries. We welcome internationals who is willing to learn and develop their career in Animation and VFX fields.
Dongseo University also provides the micro degree program. The curriculum is flexible and can be customized & designed as a 1 or 2-year intensive course to experience animation and VFX. Business Administration
For decades, Dongseo University’s Business Administration Department has been nurturing business professionals for diverse industries. Recently, through its International College, DSU began offering undergraduate degrees in business administration to Korean and International students using English as the sole language of instruction.
Now, with support from alumni and in response to changes in business environments that demand advanced learning, Dongseo University’s General Graduate School launches the Graduate School of Business Administration.
IT technologies have created new market opportunities and risks, thereby dramatically changing business environments. Visual Contents (Animation, Film, VFX)
The visual Contents graduate program offers MA, MFA, and Ph.D. degrees in animation, film, visual effects, and visual marketing & promotion research. Both Master’s and Ph.D. level programs cultivate creative and convergent talents required by industry, universities, and research institutes by educating art students with technical skills across the research fields and engineering students with an artistic sensibility.
The visual Contents graduate program seeks talented individuals with problem discovery, problem-solving, and creative abilities. The graduate program reinforces core knowledge, competencies, and convergence factors to foster professionals.
The career development program provides support through graduate student internships, HR information, updates on current trends in the field, and a local and global university-industrial network.

Computer Engineering
Nowadays, there has been rapid progress in computer, information, and communication technologies. Super-speed communication and broadband services rapidly spread into our nation and society. Consequently, our society becomes highly reliant on computer and information technologies, and the related industries including networks, the Internet, and multimedia become essential and fundamental parts of our national economy in this information age. Following this trend, the needs are dramatically increasing for well-trained professionals on computer software design, Internet application services, and network technologies.
Department of Computer Engineering deals with various research and application disciplines including computer software, computer hardware, etc. In terms of practicing research and teaching, our department focuses on relevant theories as well as practices of the above-mentioned disciplines, so that our graduates are well prepared with firm theoretical bases and technologies which are required in industrial environments, universities, and research institutes.
Objectives
In the department of Computer Engineering, we base as our direction computer engineering and information network engineering which are basic technologies in computer and information communication. Based on that direction, we set our objective to produce professional technicians, creative designers, and original researchers on the computer, Internet application services, and information network technologies. Korean Language Programs
The Institute of Foreign Language Education helps students improve their Korean language skills and learn about Korean culture. Its highly experienced instructors and well-equipped facilities create a comfortable learning environment. The multimedia lecture rooms all have audio-visual capabilities for practice with listening and pronunciation. Also, while not in class, students can relax or have some food in the associated cafeteria.

This is for beginners who haven’t learnt any Korean at all. The focus is on pronunciation, practical vocabulary, sentence structure, and simple conversations. There are classes on conversation, grammar, listening, and writing.
Beginner 2:
This level uses a textbook focusing on grammar, conjunction, actual conversation, and simple essay writing. There are classes on conversation, grammar, and writing.
Intermediate 1:
This level uses a suitable textbook focusing on passive verbs, causative verbs, and indirect speech. Students at this level experience notable improvements in their daily communicative abilities.
Intermediate 2:
This level uses a textbook focusing on Korean traditional culture, customs, and proverbs. Various kinds of expressions are also covered.
Advanced 1, 2:
These levels use textbooks aimed at helping foreigners who want to study Korean professionally. Learners gain insight into the society of Korea, its culture, and its history. Through practicing advanced conversations and essay writing, learners become able to engage with various Korean media outlets such as dramas, movies, newspapers, and novels.

Korean Cultural Experiences
All Korean language courses at Dongseo University offer extra-curricular opportunities to learn about Korean culture and to practice Korean language skills in a natural environment. Some regularly offered special events include:

- Informative presentations on Korean culture;
- Korean culture experiences such as making Kimchi, watching traditional music concerts and performances, touring Busan, etc.
- Language exchanges (international students and Korean students at DSU are paired to share ideas and cultures while developing language skills);
- Contests and competitions – singing contests, talent shows, athletic events, etc.
Language of teaching: mostly in Korean language, but depending on the program level and the number of students in a group, an English, Chinese, or Japanese speaking instructor can be assigned as well.

To qualify as an international student:

- You and your parents must have citizenship from a country other than Korea.
- You must have graduated from high school prior to entering the program.
Application dates:
There are 4 semesters (10 weeks each) of KLP run within 1 year but regarding the visa matters, admission process runs twice a year – spring (May 1~31) and fall (November 1~30).
Tuition fee per semester: 1,100,000 KRW (10 weeks, 200 hours; textbook fee not included)
Dormitory fee: International House 2 – 530,000 KRW (per semester – 4 months)

For international students residing abroad or having difficulties entering Korea, ONLINE Korean Language Program is suggested! Online course is available only if a group has more than 12 students.
